Feeling It All
She stood on the sand and felt all her problems beneath her feet, one grain at a time…she begins to sink.
Sinking…sinking..
She pulls herself up and steps onto the ground before her, the pavement hard and unforgiving, pushing upon the soles of her feet.
Her problems melding together.
So cold, so hard…
She begins to run, the ground changes beneath her, still there ever present, she cannot out run it.
Exhausted…drained…
She sees a river, she closes her eyes and jumps in. The water embraces her skin, hugs her soul.
Wrapping around her body and then moving on, she doesn’t resist.
She floats…free…

How beautiful and hope-giving! (((hugs)))
Thank you!!
Interesting . . . thewingedwoman thought it was “hope-giving” and I thought it was hope-crushing/ending . . . . I almost didn’t “like” it because I thought it was so sad. But it has beauty . . . even though I am reading it like a suicide . . . .
Ouf! so heartfelt…so many ways to read this…surrender or abandon…hoping for surrender, blessings x
Yes – it really can be read in different ways. Part of how I prefer to write is to draw “pictures” of the feeling with words. But I never want to tell someone what it means, because for me it means what you want it to mean. I truly feel that is the magic of art, maybe it help to reveal something inside the person receiving it or maybe it just invokes thoughts…whatever it may be I welcome all visions and interpretations. Love and peace! 🙂
